Hi there and welcome to my site; mywebsiteacademy.com! My name is Eelco and I rolled into the website marketing and affiliate partners because I wanted more out of my life! I used to say, I want to be a millionaire, get rich quick without putting a lot of effort in it. Tried a lot of ways, checked google for the “make money fast” sites and tried the things they said.
I found out quickly that there is no way to make money fast without putting any effort into something. I’m not saying there are no quick ways to make money, I’m just saying you have to put effort into something! For me it was website marketing and affiliate partners where I wanted to put my time and effort it. And that is how this website came alive.
How did I end up with marketing en affiliate?
I’m the kind of person that likes everything he sees and tries everything until I don’t like it anymore. I love to sport and I try out a lot of different things. For me this is a way of living, trying to get the most out of my time each day! I don’t like sitting still and doing nothing, I have to be busy, learn new things, try new things and get better and stronger every day.
But since I graduated I found out that I don’t have enough hours in my day to actually do what I love! I have to work full time, to make the money I need, to do the sports I love, I want to meet up with my friends, I want to learn new things, I want to do soooo much more!
That is the point where I said to myself, I want to get rich quickly and work less for it. I want my money to work for me so I got more free time. I want my own business so I decide my own times I work, I want more money and also more freedom! So I started scrolling around the internet, looking for easy ways to make money, because of course I didn’t want to put too much time in this.
I also started buying books, marketing books, trying to understand why people spend their money on things they don’t even need, why people act the way they do, and why people buy things if I move them closer to their hands of if put them on the good height for their eyes. There are so much reasons people do things, without them even knowing why they are doing it. I have to say, I loved reading those books and I soon realized, this is something I can also make my money with.
Instead of trying to get rich quick, because all those ways I found on the internet searching for “make money fast” didn’t really work out for me. I started to search for “marketing“, “how to build your own website”, “how to make money online”, and soon enough I came across the Wealthy affiliate program.
I still remember what I thought as soon as I saw their website; “oh damnn, this site is giving so much good information for free” haha, most of the time when I visited a website they just gave a bit information for free and then you instantly had to pay for the rest, else everything would be gone. Well this site does it differently, you got the option to pay, but you don’t have to. But I stuck around, and I’m glad I did, because it changed my (money)life!
There have to be others like me
As I was working my plan out, reading on the websites, searching for the best ways and trying to get to the point where I can live the life I always wanted, I thought there have to be more people like me. There have to be people that also struggle and want more out of life. And that is kind of how this website launched.
I wanted to help the people that got the same struggles as me, I wanted to help people to get their own business with a passive income on the side, I wanted to give people just that extra bit of money so they can live!
Website marketing and affiliate
My goal is to help the people like wealthy affiliate helped me. With my website I want people to get to know their way around websites, around affiliate and eventually make money so they can live the life they want!
So I say, stop wasting your time, pick something and put a lot of effort in it, there are good and easy ways to make money, just put some time in it!
